Presidential Citation Awarded to Gray School Researchers

Congratulations to Prof. Karen Avraham, Dean, and Prof. Ran Elkon, both from the Department of Human Genetics and Computational Medicine at the Gray School of Medical Sciences, for receiving a Presidential Citation at the Midwinter Meeting of the Association for Research in Otolaryngology (ARO).

Both were recognized for their mentorship and outstanding accomplishments in the genomics of the auditory system. The citation was presented by Prof. Ronna Hertzano, President of the ARO,  a physician-scientist at the NIDCD, where she is Chief of the Neurotology Branch, the Section on Omits and Translations Science of Hearing, and the Section on Inner Ear Therapeutics.
