Dr. Ronen Segev, PhD, RN is a senior lecturer and nursing historian in the Department of Nursing Sciences at Tel Aviv University. He holds a PhD in Nursing from Tel Aviv University, where he specialized in the history of Israeli military nursing, and completed postdoctoral studies in medical education at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. His research focuses on medical education, the history of nursing and health professions, chronic illness, and multicultural health care.
Dr. Segev has received multiple academic honors and research grants, including fellowships from the University of Virginia and the University of Pennsylvania. He has published extensively on military nursing, cultural competence in nursing education, and the psychological impact of shared trauma on mental health professionals.
