Prof. Yoni Haitin and Dr. Moshe Giladi Receive Prestigious “Mavri” Grant for Groundbreaking Research in Human Biology
Advancing Human Biology
The “Mavri” program of the Israel Science Foundation (ISF) has awarded a grant to Prof. Yoni Haitin from the Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, School of Public Health, at Tel Aviv University, in collaboration with Dr. Moshe Giladi from the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov), for their research project: “The structural basis for allosteric regulation of the human cis-prenyltransferase complex: implications for human disease.”
The study is expected to advance our understanding of the mechanisms underlying health and disease in humans and provide new insights with the potential to significantly impact modern medicine.
The “Mavri” program supports innovative and groundbreaking biomedical research in Israel, with an emphasis on scientific excellence, basic research, and translational potential. Its goal is to deepen knowledge of human biology and the mechanisms of human health and disease, while laying the scientific groundwork for future medical developments.
