Guest Lecture by Dr. Alfonso Fasano, MD, PhD

Dr. Alfonso Fasano will present on deep brain stimulation (DBS) and its role in addressing gait impairments in Parkinson's disease.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Alfonso Fasano, MD, PhD, is Chair in Neuromodulation at the University of Toronto and Co-Director of the Surgical Program for Movement Disorders at Toronto Western Hospital.

He has authored over 450 peer-reviewed publications and led multiple clinical trials. His research focuses on neuromodulation, adaptive (closed-loop) therapies, and the treatment of tremor and gait disorders.

The lecture will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026, 14:00-15:00 via Zoom.
