The Science of Great Presentations: Clear Talks That Engage

We are pleased to let you know that we have arranged an interactive workshop titled:

The Science of Great Presentations: Clear Talks That Engage

In this workshop, Dafna Gold Melchior, founder of Let’s Clarify It and an expert in strategic communication, will guide you through practical techniques for delivering presentations that connect, inform, and leave a lasting impression.

You'll learn how to customize discipline-specific information, craft compelling messages, integrate illustrations and calls to action, and apply storytelling principles to create logical structure and flow.

Through hands-on exercises, participants will interactively learn best practices for sharpening their key messages, refining their delivery, and engaging audiences effectively - whether presenting research findings on stage or introducing a new project to prospective collaborators.

The workshop is intended for PhD students of the Gray School of Medical Science in their last year of studies, but advanced (D)MD-PhD students of the Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences are also invited to participate.

When: Monday, March 16, 2026, 14:00-17:00

Where: Slezak Hall

Please note: registration is required to attend.
